POW: WEEK 1

*BMRH POW’s are a fun way to highlight the best of the best on a week to week basis. At times, you may have had an amazing performance, or two, but was not selected as a POW. Please do not take it personally, we only get to select one player from each division. Keep working hard and we are sure your name will make it on our list. Always remember, you have to win, to get in!

WEEK 1: 9/21 - 9/27

Freshman Division

Jacob Sterner had an outstanding Week 1, scoring 8 goals across 2 wins for the Flames. He opened the season with 5 goals and followed it with another 3-goal performance. The #1 overall pick immediately made an impact and was a major reason the Flames start 2-0

Sophomore Division

The Kings Sam Stawinski was a major factor in both victories this week. He scored 5 goals in the season opener and followed that with 3 goals and 3 assists in the 2nd win of the week. That's 8 goals and 3 assists helping the Kings start the season 2-0.

Junior Division

Patrick Casserly was involved in both Devils victories and came through when it mattered most. He had 2G, 2A in the opening 10-8 win and then delivered the overtime winner against the Rangers, finishing that game with 4G, 2A. That's 6 goals and 4 assists across 2 wins making him a solid candidate for POW honors.
