POW: WEEK 1

*BMRH POW’s are a fun way to highlight the best of the best on a week to week basis. At times, you may have had an amazing performance, or two, but was not selected as a POW. Please do not take it personally, we only get to select one player from each division. Keep working hard and we are sure your name will make it on our list.

Freshman Division

In the first overtime game of the season, both Nicholas Dempsey and Lucas Folchetti-Puglin came through to help the Sharks win their first game of the season. In his first BMRH game ever, Nicholas stopped all 3 opponents during the shootout and kept providing an opportunity for his team to earn the W. Lucas stepped up to the challenge and was the last Sharks shooter to go before entering sudden death. Lucas scored and celebrated all the way back to his team as the Sharks won the game. 

Sophomore Division

Nicolette Anselmo takes home POW Honors this week in the Sophomore Division. Nicolette stepped her for the Flyers and volunteered to play goaltender this week in their first game of the season. Nicolette earned the victory in a 14-8 win. 

Junior Division

The Bruins Donovan Butler recorded the game winner, his 4th goal of the game, and that gave the B's a 7-6 victory in the only Junior Division Game of the week.
