POW: WEEK 7

*BMRH POW’s are a fun way to highlight the best of the best on a week to week basis. At times, you may have had an amazing performance, or two, but was not selected as a POW. Please do not take it personally, we only get to select one player from each division. Keep working hard and we are sure your name will make it on our list.

Freshman Division

The Flames Marco Tseretopoulos recorded 3 assists in their last regular season game of the Fall Season. Marco broke the division record (since our new website launch in the Spring of 2022) for most assists in a season. Congratulations, Marco! 

Sophomore Division

The Ducks Owen Pessel continues to prove why he’s one of the top offensive-defensemen in the division. This week, he tallied 2 goals and 4 assists for an impressive 6-point performance. His second goal may have been the biggest of the season—an overtime game-winner that snapped the first-place team’s 8-game winning streak, and gave the Ducks a major surge of momentum heading into the playoffs.

Junior Division

The Avalanche are heading into the playoffs as the #1 seed and this week, their netminder, Dominick Safuto, only allowed 3 goals in 2 games played. Dominick earned his 7th victory of the season (in 9 games played) and earned the 1st shutout of the Fall Season.
