PROUD ALUMNI NEWS

I’d like to share some exciting community news (link to article down below) about a few of our recent High School graduates from BMRH. While the article itself doesn’t mention their roots here, it’s incredible to see what Greg Pelini has accomplished down south—and even more inspiring that his brother James, now a freshman, has joined him in Jacksonville. I felt this was a story worth sharing with our entire roller hockey community.

For those who may not know, Greg Pelini (senior) was a longtime member of our Board of Directors and served as Vice President for many years at BMRH. When Greg shared the article with me, he added: “Although there’s no mention of Roller Hockey, you and I both know my kids started at BMRH back in 2013. Without that opportunity, they wouldn’t have what they do now.”

That instantly brought a smile to my face—it’s just one more reminder of the lifelong memories BMRH has created for so many families. Whenever I reconnect with alumni, I often hear similar sentiments: BMRH has always been a special place, and for most, it’s where their journey truly began.

Greg summed it up beautifully when he told me: “I will always be grateful, and I’ll always make sure they are grateful for the very beginning—because those were the best years.”

I'm thankful to have become friends with Greg and his wife, Jen, and it was an absolute pleasure watching their "little guys" grow up at BMRH and into fine young men.

Who knows—maybe one day the Pelini's will find their way back to town and take the reins at BMRH, following in their father’s footsteps the same way I have followed in mine.watching his little boys grow up at BMRH and into fine young men.watching his little boys grow up at BMRH and into fine young men.watching his little boys grow up at BMRH and into fine young men.watching his little boys grow up at BMRH and into fine young men.watching his little boys grow up at BMRH and into fine young men.watching his little boys grow up at BMRH and into fine young men.
