WEEK 1 RECAP

Ducks 11 - Blue Jackets 6

The reigning MVP picked up right where he left off, as Quinn Miller exploded for four goals on opening night. LukeAlarcon (2G, 1A) and Richard Postiglione (1G, 2A) each added three-point performances, while Aiden Dwojak secured his first win of the season in net. For the Blue Jackets, Jase Kavanagh posted two goals and an assist, and Ryan Moshes chipped in with a pair of goals.

Devils 6 - Islanders 4

After totaling a ton of assists this past fall, Owen Pessel opened the season with a hat trick. Connor Miller contributed two assists, and Shea Hubbard, Tyler Zak, Bobby Michaleski, and Jason Cohen each found the scoresheet. Shane Zuckerman earned the win between the pipes. For the Islanders, first overall pick Brooks Matulich made an immediate impact with a hat trick in his BMRH debut, while Jaxon Reedman added two assists.

Oilers 12 - Red Wings 2

Zajin Ramirez rebounded from a tough fall season with a dominant performance in goal, backstopping the Oilers to their first win. Donovan Butler led the offensive surge with six goals, while AJ Navarro (2G, 3A) and Landon Butler (3G, 2A) each recorded five-point nights. Vincent Catalfomo and Frankie Smart accounted for the Red Wings’ goals.

Mammoth 9 - Canadiens 8  SO

Night two kicked off with a thriller, as the Mammoth edged the Canadiens in a shootout. John Cusumano led the charge with five points (4G, 1A), including the game-winning shootout tally. Nicholas Dempsey stood tall in net, stopping all three shootout attempts to earn the win. Dylan Day dished out five assists, and Zayn Hasan added four points (2G, 2A). For the Canadiens, newcomers Jordan Klein (2G) and Scarlet Pinset (1G, 1A) made strong first impressions.

Bruins 15 - Rangers 14

An offensive explosion saw the Bruins outlast the Rangers in a high-scoring battle. In his BMRH debut, Aldo Penaloza delivered an incredible 11-goal performance. John Tamm notched a hat trick and four assists, while Caden Day added a goal and three helpers. On the other side, Nolan Russo racked up nine points (4G, 5A), and Nikolas Kossack tallied six goals and an assist. Logan Kute stepped in between the pipes to secure the win for Boston.

Stars 10 - Capitals 8

Nicholas Urso powered the Stars to victory with five goals and an assist, while Brayden Padula contributed a hat trick and two assists. Jack Alvy picked up the win in his first BMRH appearance. The Capitals were led by Jake Passarella’s four-goal effort, and Joey Italiano’s four-point night (2G, 2A).
