WEEK 6 RECAP

Mammoth 9 - Canadiens 5

The Mammoth continued their hot streak, earning their second straight victory behind a huge night from Sarosh Hasan. Hasan dominated offensively with six points, scoring four goals and adding two assists to power the Mammoth attack. Zayn Hasan contributed a goal and three assists, while Landon Yuengling chipped in with two goals and a helper. Nicholas Dempsey turned in another solid effort in net to secure the win. For the Canadiens, MatthewChait led the offense with two goals and an assist in the loss.

Bruins 10  - Devils 5

The Bruins stayed in the win column with another high-powered offensive performance, backed by a strong defensive effort from Sean Hoefenkrieg that helped slow down the Devils attack. Brendan Hoefenkrieg continued his incredible season with six goals and an assist, while John Tamm dished out two assists and Caden Day added a goal and an assist. In a fun moment for the Devils, goaltender Shane Zuckerman skated out and even found the back of the net. Tyler Zak scored twice for the Devils in defeat.

Red Wings 10 - Capitals 2

The Red Wings rolled past the Capitals thanks to a four-goal explosion from Frankie Smart. Peyton Paul added a pair of goals, including a power-play tally, while Joshua Rubinfield recorded two assists. Thomas Primrose earned the victory between the pipes with a steady performance in goal. Joey Italiano provided the offense for the Capitals, finishing with a goal and an assist.

Ducks 9 -  Sharks 3

The Ducks continued their strong spring campaign with another impressive victory as Luke Alarcon and Jacob Sterner each scored twice. Aiden Dwojak picked up his league-leading eighth win of the season in net. The Ducks showcased their depth offensively with additional goals coming from Jordan Messemer, Richard Postiglione, Jude Rogowsky, Jaxen Dwojak, and Hunter Steck. Despite the scoreline, Sharks goalie Jaxon Passarella made numerous big saves to keep his team battling throughout the game. Landon Gallagher, along with James and Matthew Alveari, scored for the Sharks.

Islanders 8 - Bruins 7 

In what may have been the most thrilling game of the spring season, the Islanders handed the Bruins their first loss of the year in a dramatic back-and-forth battle. The Islanders held a 7-5 lead late before the Bruins stormed back, with John Tamm cutting the deficit to one and Brendan Hoefenkrieg completing the comeback by tying the game after a monster six-point performance (4G, 2A). Both Sean Hoefenkrieg and James Esposito came up with clutch saves throughout the game, but with just 1:19 remaining, Brooks Matulich buried his sixth goal of the night to lift the Islanders to victory. Matulich finished with seven points, while Jaxon Reedman racked up five assists. Luca Campana added a goal and four assists, and Michael Shevlin contributed a goal and two helpers. For the Bruins, Caden Day scored twice.

Oilers 10 - Stars 5

The Oilers clinched the number one seed in the playoffs and secured the season series over the Stars with another dominant offensive showing. Donovan Butler led the charge with five goals and an assist, bringing his season total to an incredible 60 points. Landon Butler added four points of his own with a goal and three assists, while AJ Navarro dazzled the crowd with two highlight-reel goals, including one of the slickest finishes of the season. Zajin Ramirez and the Oilers earned their ninth victory of the year. For the Stars, Harrison Nawrocki continued his outstanding season with a seven-point effort (3G, 4A), finishing the regular season with 35 total points.

Mammoth 9 - Senators 5

The Mammoth extended their winning streak to three games and climbed into third place in the standings behind another explosive offensive performance. Sarosh Hasan stayed red hot, recording a hat trick and an assist, while Landon Yuengling added a goal and two assists. Lucca Capuano chipped in with two goals in the victory. Ryder Sanon scored twice for the Senators, and Lukas Aykaz finished with a goal and an assist in the loss.

Blue Jackets 12 - Canadiens 8

The Blue Jackets secured their seventh win of the season and clinched a first-round playoff bye thanks to a huge offensive effort led by Lucas Nasso. Nasso totaled five points with a hat trick and two assists, while Lucia Montefesco added a hat trick of her own. Johnny Kossack earned the win in goal as the Blue Jackets strengthened their hold on the number two seed, though they still remain in contention for first place with one game left to play. Scarlett Pinsent continued her strong stretch for the Canadiens with two goals and an assist, while Logan Lapella added two goals in the loss.

Sharks 10 - Senators 5

After the game was tied 4-4, the Sharks completely took over in the second half, erupting for six unanswered goals to pull away for the win. Matthew Alveari continued his dominant season with another five-point performance, scoring three goals and adding two assists. James Alveari contributed a goal and two assists, while Nicholas Bandera scored twice as the Sharks earned their third victory of the season. The Senators received goals from five different players in the loss: Andrew Rapp,Lukas Aykaz, Jasper Aykaz, Ryder Sanon, and Grayson Torres, who scored his first career goal at BMRH.
