POW: WEEK 7

*BMRH POW’s are a fun way to highlight the best of the best on a week to week basis. At times, you may have had an amazing performance, or two, but was not selected as a POW. Please do not take it personally, we only get to select one player from each division. Keep working hard and we are sure your name will make it on our list.

Freshman Division

Have you seen Blue Jackets Lucas Nasso? This kid can absolutely fly all over the rink, and the energy starts from the opening face-off all the way to the final whistle. Lucas recorded 2 goals and an assist in the Blue Jackets’ win this week and continues to shine in what has been a phenomenal rookie season at BMRH. Through the season, Lucas has totaled 14 goals and 9 assists for 23 points, quickly becoming one of the league’s most exciting young players to watch.

Sophomore Division

Devils forward Tyler Zak came up huge once again this week, recording a hat trick in the semifinals to help punch his team’s ticket to the Spring League Finals. Tyler has built a reputation for stepping up in the biggest moments at BMRH, and the numbers back it up. Since the Fall of 2024, Tyler is just shy of the 30-goal mark in playoff action, and he’s done it in only 9 playoff games.

Junior Division

It may not have been the regular season he was hoping for, but Thomas Primrose looked completely locked in during the semifinal round. Save after save, Thomas showed just how focused and determined he was, delivering one of his strongest performances of the season when his team needed it most. Now, the Red Wings are headed to the Finals, and if they’re going to make a statement, it all starts with the guy between the pipes. Thomas is heating up at the perfect time.
