WEEK 8 RECAP

Sharks 8 - Canadiens 3

The Sharks secured the No. 3 seed heading into the playoffs with a convincing victory over the Canadiens, leapfrogging both the Mammoth and Canadiens in the final standings. Nicholas Bandera delivered a standout performance, recording five points on two goals and three assists, while Sharks leading scorer Matthew Alveari continued his torrid pace with a hat trick. Between the pipes, Jaxon Passarella was stellar, turning away numerous scoring opportunities to earn his fourth win of the regular season. The Canadiens received offensive contributions from Scarlet Pinsent (1G), Luca Gallace (1A), Cole Christensen (1A), and Jordan Klein (1A), but the loss marked their third consecutive defeat heading into the postseason. They will now face the Mammoth in a first-round playoff showdown.

Sophomore Division Finals - Game 1

Bruins 6  - Devils 3

The Bruins drew first blood in the Sophomore Division Finals thanks to another dominant effort from league MVP Brendan Hoefenkrieg, who found the back of the net five times. Sean Hoefenkrieg was sharp in goal, particularly during a late Devils surge in the second half. Aldo Penaloza chipped in with a goal while Matteo Tseretopoulos added an assist. After a sluggish start, the Devils mounted a comeback effort behind Tyler Zak's two goals and ConnorMiller's tally. Assists came from Tyler Moshes, William Blumenstetter, Mehmet Ali Ciracoklu, and Shea Hubbard. Goaltender Shane Zuckerman made several key saves to keep the Devils within striking distance, setting the stage for an exciting Game 2. We 

JUNIOR  Division Finals - Game 1

Oilers 7 - Red Wings 4

Despite a heroic effort from Red Wings goaltender Thomas Primrose, the Oilers' relentless attack proved too much in Game 1 of the Junior Division Finals. Primrose made save after save early, but second-chance opportunities and rebounds eventually caught up to the Wings. Peyton Paul paced the Red Wings offense with three points (1G, 2A), while Frankie Smart added two points (1G, 1A). Missing their leading scorer was a challenge, but the Wings remained competitive throughout. Birthday boy Zajin Ramirez shut the door when needed, earning the victory in goal for the Oilers. AJ Navarro led the offensive charge with five points (3G, 2A), Donovan Butler recorded a hat trick and an assist, and Landon Butler contributed two points (1G, 1A).

Sophomore Division Finals - Game 2

Bruins 11  - Devils 9

The Bruins completed their championship run in dramatic fashion as Brendan Hoefenkrieg put on a historic performance, scoring seven goals to lead his team to the Spring League title. Logan Kute added four points (1G, 3A), while Caden Day contributed three points (1G, 2A). The Bruins' ability to win close games all season proved invaluable, as they captured seven victories by three goals or fewer during the regular season and playoffs. The Devils fought valiantly to the final buzzer. Tyler Moshes delivered a monster performance with five points (4G, 1A), Owen Pessel tallied four points (2G, 2A), and Mehmet Ali Cirakoglu added a goal and two assists. Although the season ended in disappointment, the Devils showcased tremendous teamwork and resilience throughout the spring campaign.

JUNIOR  Division Finals - Game 2

Oilers 10 - Red Wings 4

The Red Wings' impressive playoff run came to an end as the top-seeded Oilers completed a dominant championship sweep. After upsetting the No. 2 seed in the semifinals and battling hard in Game 1 of the Finals, the Wings simply couldn't keep pace with the high-powered Oilers offense. Thomas Primrose once again turned in an outstanding effort in net, while Justin Primrose and Frankie Smart each recorded two points (1G, 1A). Donovan Butler led the Oilers with five goals, Matthew Lin orchestrated the offense with four assists, and Landon Butler added a goal and three helpers. Goaltender Zajin Ramirez was strong once again, helping secure the championship as the Oilers capped off an impressive season by hoisting the Junior Division title.

Sharks 6 - Senators 5 OT

The Senators appeared poised for an upset after storming out to a 4-1 lead behind Lukas Aykaz's two goals and a goal-plus-assist performance from Andrew Rapp. But the Sharks responded with a furious comeback led by LandonGallagher, who recorded a hat trick and scored the overtime game-winner to complete the rally and send the Sharks into the next round. James Alveari contributed two assists, while James Pronesti Jr. (1G, 1A) and Dylan Perotti (1G, 1A) each added two-point performances in the thrilling postseason victory.
