WEEK 11 RECAP

SOPHOMORE DIVISION FINALs - GAME 2
Ducks 7 - Capitals 4
The Ducks bounce back and take Game 2 of the best of 3 Championship Series. Tyler Zak took matter in to his own hands and scored 5 times. He also added an assist to total 6 points on the evening. Owen Pessel added 4 assists, and Brian Barrera scored twice. Shane Zuckerman shut the door and we are moving on to a winner-take-all Game 3.
JUNIOR DIVISION - ROUND 4
Golden Knights 8 - Avalanche 4
The Golden Knights hand the Avs their first loss of the double-elimination tournament and that means we have a winner-take-all finale. The Division's leading goal scorer, Vincent Catalfomo recorded a hat trick and Thomas Primrose made some big time saves to hold on to the victory. Christopher Keane led the Avs with 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists).
SOPHOMORE DIVISION FINALs - GAME 3
Ducks 10 - Capitals 3
The Ducks came out the gate flying high and had the will to win all evening long. The Caps showed some life trailing 3-1 but Shane Zuckerman made save after save. Tyler Zak recorded a 7-point finale (3 goals, 4 assists). Both OwenPessel (1 goal, 3 assists), and Brian Barrera (3 goals, 1 assist) finished the night with 4 points a piece. BraydenSalzman, and Thomas Sanders added goals late to seal the deal. The Caps Vincent Rufo played tremendous but unfortunately didn't receive much support as a few goals were recorded off rebounds in front, and odd-man rushes down the rink. The Ducks take the Fall League Championship!
JUNIOR DIVISION - FINALS
Golden Knights 10 - Avalanche 7
Both teams were missing their tendies in the final so shoutout to Nicholas Macko, who earned the victory, and JakePassarella, who gave it his very best. Both games were close and came down to the final minutes but the Golden Knights are golden, and this season's Champs! Nicholas Urso recorded 5 points (3 goals, 2 assists) and was all over the rink making plays and hustling hard. Peyton Paul, Vincent Catalafomo, and Thomas Ryan, all scored 2 goals and had an assist. For the Avs, Christopher Keane and Jake Seidman both recorded 4 points a piece.
