Junior Division Finals - Game 3

Blackhawks 5 - Kings 1

The Blackhawks rebounded from their Game 1 defeat and came back to take the last 2 games of the series. They built an early lead and defended extremely well throughout the 2nd half of this game. The Kings grinded it out and were inches shy of making this a 1 goal game but they continued to ring pucks off the pipe. This doesn't take anything away from the goalkeeping of Eric Weltner as he made save after save, limiting the Kings to 1 goal. It was an impressive performance that you had to see! The Kings Erik Lanzer scored the lone goal while Brian Justiniano recorded all 5 points (2 goals, 3 assists) for the Hawks. Jack Sarosy scored twice and helped the Blackhawks take the Fall Season Title.
