WEEK 2 RECAP

Kings 14 - Flames 10
The Kings take down the Flames who were the only undefeated team remaining in the league. The Kings jumped out to a giant lead, thanks to Jase Kavanagh (6 goals), Lukas Aykaz (3 goals), and Eli Horowitz (2 goals). At one the half, the Flames trailed 8-2 but they fought back and just came up short. Quinn Miller led the way with 6 points (5 goals, 1 assist). Marco Tseretopoulos finished with a goal and 4 assists while James Pronesti recorded 4 assists. OliverLindeman earned his second straight win between the pipes.
Capitals 8 - Ducks 5
The Capitals jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the 1st half and never looked back. Jordan Daley's 4 goals, and the superb play by Goaltender Vincent Ruffo helped seal the deal and give the Caps their first victory of the season. The Ducks suffer their first loss but had chances all game long. Owen Pessel (3 points), and Tyler Zak (3 points) each scored 2 goals and had an assist.
Golden Knights 7 - Jets 6
The Golden Knights squeeze out another victory over the Jets as Vincent Catalfomo recorded the game-winner, his 4th of the game, with just :52 on the clock. Nicholas Urso added a goal and 2 assists while Thomas Primrose earned his second straight win in net. For the Jets, Frankie Smart recorded a hat trick, and both Aiden Miller, and Jeffrey Arale recored 2 points a piece. The Jets fall to 0-2 while the Golden Knights move to 2-1.
Lightning 9 - Devils 8
The Lightning earned their first victory of the season as Jacob Sterner led the way recording 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist). Both Luke Alarcon, and James Alveari scored 2 goals while Christopher Bruntvedt filled in at goalie and earned the win. Dylan Day scored 4 times for the Devils while William Brucia (2 assists), and Sarosh Hasan (1 goal, 1 assist) each recorded 2 points in the loss.
Capitals 5 - Oilers 2
Isabella DiStephan led the Capitals to victory as she recorded a hat trick and added an assist. Nolan Russo added a goal while Vincent Ruffo earned another win in goal. The Oilers Matteo Tsretopoulos scored a goal and had an assist.
Lightning 9 - Kings 6
The Lightning win their 2nd straight game and 9 seems to be their magic number as once again, they put 9 goals in the net to seal the victory. James Alveari (2 goals, 1 assist), Anthony Commisso (2 goals, 1 assist), Michael Bruntvendt (1 goal, 2 assists), and Jacob Sterner (1 goal, 2 assists) all recorded 4 points on the evening. Nicholas Dempsey earned his first win of the season in goal for the Bolts. The Kings Eli Horowitz recorded a hat trick and Jaxon Passarella finished with a goal and an assist.
Avalanche 12 - Jets 6
Lucas Senicola continues with the hot hand as he recorded 4 points (3 goals, 1 assist). Jake Passarella recorded a hat trick and Dominic Safuto earned the win in goal as the Avs move to 2-0 on the season. The Jets Frankie Smart recorded 4 points (3 goals, 1 assist) and Patrick Casserly finished with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).
Flames 12 - Devils 8
After suffering their first loss of the season earlier in the week, the Flames get back on track as Michael DelVecchio earned the victory in goal. Quinn Miller again led the way scoring 4 goals and 2 assists. Ryan Quatroni also scored 4 times while James Pronesti scored and added 2 assists. For the Devils, Ryder Sanon had a breakout game recording a hat trick, Dylan Day recorded 3 assists, and Sarosh Hasan also finished with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist). The Devils lose their 3rd straight game.
Ducks 8 - Blues 5
The Ducks quacked their way to victory as Brian Barrera recorded a hat trick and Tyler Zak also added 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists). Shane Zuckerman earned the win in goal for the Ducks as they improve to 2-1 this season. The Blues fall to 1-2 but were led by Lucas Folchetti-Puglin (3 goals, 1 assist), and Bobby Michaleski (1 goal, 3 assists) who both recorded a total of 4 points.
