WEEK 4 RECAP

Devils 6 - Kings 5 OT
After being all tied up at the half, the Devils started to pull away with a 3-goal lead. Ryder Sanon led the way recording 2 goals, and Ethan Banks added a goal and an assist to give the Devs a 5-2 lead. But the Kings fought back as Jasper Aykaz recorded 3 assists, and Jase Kavanagh, and Hunter Steck each scored twice. But in the end, it was William Brucia who recorded the lone goal in the shootout, and Aiden Dwojak who secured the win between the pipes.
Oilers 11 - Blues 9
The Oilers earn their 2nd victory of the season as Jacob Alston (2 goals, 2 assists), and Jaxon Reedman (3 goals, 1 assist) each recorded 4 points in the victory. Zachary Balnis earned the win in goal for the Oilers. The Blues Ashlyn Hite led the way recording 4 assists, Michael Shevlin added 3 assists, and Domenico Cusumano recorded the hat trick in the loss.
Golden Knights 12 - Jets 6
The Golden Knights improve to 3 -1, all of their wins coming vs. the Jets this season. Vincent Catalfomo recorded 7 points (5 goals, 2 assists) while Nicholas Urso matched the 7-point evening scoring 4 goals and assisting on 3 others. Thomas Primrose earns another win in goal. For the Jets, Frankie Smart scored 4 goals, and Patrick Casserly recorded 3 assists.
Lightning 10 - Flames 6
The Bolts take down the 1st place Flames and are now tied with them at the top of the division. Michael Bruntvedt scored 4 goals and assisted on another to lead the way. Luke Alarcon, and James Alveari, each recorded 2 ponts (1 goal, 1 assist) while Nicholas Dempsey earned the big win in goal. For the Flames, Thomas Pagnanelli (3 goals, 1 assist), and Marco Tseretopoulos (1 goal 3 assists) each recorded 4 point games.
Blues 9 - Ducks 7
The Blues trailed 7-6 with just under 7 minutes to play, and they scored 3 unanswered goals to get a huge win in the Sophomore Division race to the top. James Esposito kept pucks out of the net late in the game and DomenicoCusumano recorded a hat trick, and added 2 assists. In the loss, both Michael Liguori (3 goals, 2 assists), and TylerZak (4 goals, 1 assist) recorded 5 points a piece.
Lightning 10 - Kings 7
The Lightning win their 5th straight game and are buzzing on all cylinders. Anthony Commisso scored and recorded 3 assists while John Cusumano recorded 2 goals and an assist. Nicholas Dempsey earned his 4th victory in goal this season. The Kings Giuseppe Caputo recorded a hat trick while Hunter Steck added a goal and an assist.
Avalanche 7 - Golden Knights 6
The Avs win again and improve to 4-0 on the season. Jake Seidman recorded a hat trick and an assist, and ChristopherKeane added 2 goals and 2 assists to squeeze by the Golden Knights. Dominic Safuto earned his 4th win of the season. Nicholas Urso recorded a hat trick in the loss.
Capitals 7 - Oilers 6
The Caps held off a late 2nd half surge from the Oilers to earn their 4th win of the season. Vincent Ruffo between the pipes is a big reason why the Caps are in sole possession of 1st place. Nolan Russo recorded all 7 points (1 goal, 6 assists) in the win. Robert Dowd recorded a hat trick, and Ryan Busk scored twice. For the Oilers, Jaxon Reedman recorded a hat trick and added an assist.
Golden Knights 8 - Avalanche 6
The Golden Knights end the Avs undefeated season as Justin Primrose recorded 4 points (1 goal and 3 assists) while Thomas Primrose kept goals off the board. Vincent Catalfomo scored 4 times as the Golden Knights remain 1 game behind the Avs. Jake Passarella, and Lucas Senicola each scored twice for the Avs.
Flames 6 - Lightning 4
The Flames take down the Bolts and end their impressive winning streak. Thomas Pagnanelli (2 goals, 1 assist), and Quinn Miller (1 goal, 2 assists), each led the way with 3 point games. Michael DelVecchio earned his 4th win of the season in goal for the Flames as they take back sole possession of 1st place. For the Bolts, Connor Blumenstetter recorded 2 assists while Michael Bruntvedt scored twice.
Ducks 13 - Oilers 5
Makeup games mean short-handed rosters and that's what we witness to cap off the week as both teams were looking kind of light. The Ducks Michael Liguori (7 goals, 3 assists), and Tyler Zak (6 goals, 4 assists) dominated this matchup. Owen Pessel threw on the pads and earned his first career victory in goal at BMRH. For the Oilers, ConnorMiller recorded 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists). Kudos to Benjamin Stewart for volunteering to play goal for the Oilers.
