WEEK 4 RECAP

Senators 12 – Mammoth 9
The Senators picked up their first win of the season in a high-scoring showdown. Kimberly Bajada stepped in between the pipes and earned the victory. The Aykaz brothers powered the offense, with Jasper finishing with 6 points (1G, 5A) and Lukas matching him with 6 points of his own (3G, 3A). Ryder Sanon added four goals in the winning effort. For Mammoth, Sarosh Hasan turned in a huge performance with 6 points (5G, 1A), while Landon Yuengling chipped in with 4 points (2G, 2A) in the loss.
Rangers 11 - Devils 6
The Rangers celebrated their first win of the season by erupting for six second-half goals to pull away from the Devils. Brian Barrera was unstoppable, scoring 6 goals and adding an assist in a dominant outing. Lucas Folchetti-Puglin dished out 4 assists, while Vincent Rufo picked up the win in goal. The Devils, after a brief winning streak, fall back to .500 on the season. Connor Miller recorded a hat trick, and Sam Stawinski added 3 points (1G, 2A).
Oilers 14 – Red Wings 7
The Oilers bounced back quickly from their first loss of the season, improving to 5-1 with an offensive explosion. Jeffrey Arale (2G, 4A) and Donovan Butler (5G, 1A) each posted 6-point nights, while Christopher Taylor contributed 4 points (2G, 2A). For the Red Wings, Frankie Smart led the way with 4 points (2G, 2A).
Blue Jackets 11 – Ducks 7
The Blue Jackets handed the Ducks their first loss of the spring, extending their own winning streak to four games. Jase Kavanagh once again led the charge, piling up 6 points (4G, 2A). Shane Binder scored 4 goals and added an assist, while Lucas Nasso chipped in 3 points (2G, 1A). For the Ducks, Richard Postiglione netted 4 goals, and Jude Rogowsky added a pair of assists.
Bruins 10 – Islanders 8
Behind an incredible 8-goal performance from Brendan Hoefenkireg, the Bruins stayed unbeaten and earned their sixth win of the season. John Tamm added 4 points (1G, 3A) in the victory. The Islanders kept it close before the Bruins pulled away late. Brooks Matulich led the Isles with 5 points (4G, 1A), while Isabella DiStephan and Luca Campana each finished with 3 points.
Stars 8 – Capitals 0
Jack Alvy recorded BMRH’s first shutout of the season, earning his sixth win as the Stars cruised to a dominant victory. Nicholas Urso (2G, 1A), Harrison Nawrocki (1G, 2A), Brayden Padula (2G, 1A), and Luke Padula (3A) all finished with 3 points.
Canadiens 9 - Sharks 5
The Canadiens leapfrogged the Sharks in the standings to take over third place with a convincing win. Ryan Quatroni (3G) and Marco Tseretopoulos (2G, 1A) each recorded 3 points to lead the offense, while Dominick Politis earned his second win in net this season. In the loss, Dylan Perotti had 3 points (2G, 1A).
Rangers 4 - Islanders 3 OT
The Rangers edged the Islanders in a tightly contested battle that needed overtime to settle. After a back-and-forth game, Isabella DiStephan gave the Isles a 3-2 lead midway through the second half. But with just 35 seconds left, Lucas Folchetti-Puglin (2G, 1A) found the equalizer to force overtime. The extra session didn’t last long, as Dominick Cusumano buried the game-winner just 27 seconds in, lifting the Rangers to their fifth point of the season.
Oilers 8 – Capitals 0
Zajin Ramirez posted the shutout as the Oilers continued their dominant season. With 77 goals scored, they remain the league’s most explosive offense. Donovan Butler led the way with 6 points (2G, 4A), this time showcasing his playmaking ability. Christopher Taylor and Matthew Lin each scored twice, while Jeffrey Arale and Landon Butler both added a goal and an assist.
Ducks 7 – Mammoth 2
Despite being extremely short-handed, Mammoth battled hard, with special recognition going to those who showed up and double-shifted against tough competition. Nicholas Dempsey stood tall in goal with numerous saves, while Ethan Banks scored both Mammoth goals. For the Ducks, Quinn Miller led the way with 5 points (3G, 2A), and Luke Alarcon added a pair of goals as the Ducks improved to 6-1 on the season.
