WEEK 5 RECAP

Mammoth 8 - Blue Jackets 7
The Mammoth pulled off a huge win in a thrilling one-goal battle, earning their second victory of the season. NicholasDempsey was outstanding in net, coming up with big saves to slow down the Blue Jackets’ explosive offense. EthanBanks powered the attack with a hat trick, Sarosh Hasan added two goals, and William Tramontano scored his first-ever BMRH goal. In the loss, Shane Blinder recorded a hat trick, while Lucas Nasso chipped in three assists.
Bruins 7 - Rangers 3
The Bruins remained perfect, improving to 7-0 with another impressive performance against the Rangers. SeanHoefenkrieg was sensational between the pipes, making a series of highlight-reel saves to keep the Rangers at bay. Offensively, the Bruins’ dynamic duo delivered once again as Brendan Hoefenkrieg finished with two goals and an assist, while Aldo Penaloza found the back of the net twice. Nikolas Kossack scored a pair in the loss for the Rangers.
Red Wings 9 - Capitals 4
The Red Wings picked up a much-needed win, with Thomas Primrose earning his first victory in net this spring season. Anthony Menechino led the charge offensively with four goals, while Frankie Smart (1G, 2A) and Jake Siedman (2G, 1A) each posted three-point nights. For the Capitals, who have now dropped three straight, Brandon Catalina recorded a hat trick and Christopher Keane added two assists.
Ducks 10 - Senators 5
The Ducks earned their second straight win and seventh overall victory of the season with a balanced offensive attack. Several Ducks finished with three points, including Jude Rogowsky (2G, 1A), Richard Postiglione (2G, 1A), JaxenDwojak (1G, 2A), and Jacob Sterner (2G, 1A). Lukas Aykaz scored twice for the Senators in the loss.
Devils 14 - Islanders 9
Sam Stawinski put together one of the most dominant performances of the season, exploding for nine goals and adding an assist to lead the Devils to victory. Shane Zuckerman battled in goal to secure his fourth win of the year, while Mehmet Ali Cirakoglu added five points (2G, 3A). Credit goes to the short-handed Islanders, who showed tremendous effort, with John Montefusco stepping into goal so his team could play. Luca Campana was electric with eight points (4G, 4A), while Nate Menikheim scored five goals in a valiant effort.
Oilers 13 - Stars 9
The Oilers stayed hot, extending their winning streak to three games while handing the Stars their first loss of the season. Donovan Butler dominated with seven goals, while Landon Butler and Aiden Miller each added two. For the Stars, Luke Padula recorded four assists and Harrison Nawrocki notched a hat trick. A special shoutout to ThomasRyan for stepping in as goalie to help get the game played.
Blue Jackets 12 - Sharks 7
The Blue Jackets bounced back in a big way, improving to 5-2 on the season with a strong win over the Sharks. JohnnyKossack picked up his third win in goal, while Truman Kehoe led the offense with a season-high five points (4G, 1A). Logan McManus added a goal and three assists. For the Sharks, Michael Alveari recorded a hat trick and an assist in the loss.
Devils 8 - Rangers 5
The Devils picked up their fifth win of the season behind another stellar effort from Sam Stawinski, who scored four times and added an assist. Bobby Michaleski also had a huge night, recording a hat trick and an assist, while ShaneZuckerman earned his fifth win in net. Nikolas Kossack scored twice for the Rangers, and Brenden Palmer added a goal and an assist.
Stars 8 – Capitals 0
Jack Alvy posted his second shutout of the season and improved to a perfect 7-0 in goal as the Stars cruised past the Capitals. Harrison Nawrocki led the way with four points (3G, 1A), Nicholas Urso chipped in three (2G, 1A), and Thomas Ryan scored his first two goals of the season as the Stars continued their push toward the top seed.
Canadiens 12 - Senators 7
The Canadiens earned a big two points and moved closer to locking up the #3 seed. Dominic Politis picked up the win in goal, while Scarlett Pinset had a monster performance with six goals and an assist. Luca Gallace added a goal and three assists. For the Senators, Ryder Sanon led the way with five points (2G, 3A).
Islanders 5 - Rangers 4 OT
The Islanders pulled out a dramatic overtime victory in one of the most exciting games of the week. Jaxon Reedman (2G, 1A) gave the Islanders a late 4-3 lead, but with just 43 seconds left, Nikolas Kossack (1G, 2A) buried the equalizer on the power play for the Rangers. In overtime, both teams had chances, but it was Ashlyn Hite who delivered the game-winner with 1:11 remaining, securing the Islanders the #3 seed.
Oilers 13 – Red Wings 5
Donovan Butler continued his incredible stretch, scoring seven times to power the Oilers to a convincing win. AJNavarro added four goals and an assist, while John Roche was the setup man all night long with five assists. AnthonyMenechino led the Red Wings with four points (3G, 1A).
Blue Jackets 14 - Senators 9
The Blue Jackets closed out the week with a 2-1 record and their sixth win of the season. Jase Kavanagh added to his league-leading point total with four goals and an assist, while Luca Nasso (3G, 1A) and Shane Blinder (2G, 2A) each tallied four points. Truman Kehoe and Joseph Scali both added two goals. Lukas Aykaz had a huge six-point game (4G, 2A) for the Senators.
Bruins 7 - Devils 5
In another heavyweight showdown, the Bruins once again came out on top, clinching the #1 seed heading into the playoffs. Brendan Hoefenkrieg was unstoppable, scoring six goals, while Sean Hoefenkrieg earned another win in net. Sam Stawinski and Shea Hubbard each scored twice for the Devils in the loss.
Stars 14 -Red Wings 10
The Stars held on in a high-scoring battle to keep pace with the Oilers in the standings. Harrison Nawrocki put on a show with eight points (6G, 2A), while Luke Giordano followed closely behind with six points (4G, 2A). With the win, the Stars remain in the #2 seed and in position for a playoff showdown with the Red Wings. Anthony Menechino added to his team lead earning 5 points (4G, 1A), and Frankie Smart scored 4 goals.
