WEEK 6 RECAP

Ducks 14 - Predators 12

The Ducks defeat the Preds and continue their winning streak to 4 straight! Logan Kute scored 6 goals and improved his league lead to 37. Christian Lane added 2 goals and 3 assists while Connor Blumenstetter finished with a hat trick and an assist. Dominick Politis earned the victory in goal. The Preds were led by James Alveari (3 goals, 3 assists), and Matthew Foresta (3 goals, 2 assists). 

Panthers  7 - Flyers 6 SO

The Panthers are the first team to take down the Flyers this season and it took a shootout to seal the deal. Brayden Padula recorded all 6 points for the Flyers (3 goals, 3 assists) and tied the game at 6 with 1:08 to play in regulation. Gavin Kane added a goal and 2 assists in the loss. Logan Maslauskas recorded 4 goals and 2 assists for the Panthers, and had the lone goal in the shootout to help give the Panthers their 2nd win of the season. Jake Seidman added 2 goals and 2 assists and Jayce Vanasco earned the victory in goal. 

Sharks 6 - Predators 3

The Sharks get back to the win column as they take down the Preds. Nicholas Dempsey earned the victory in goal while the Sharks 1st line led the scoring attack! Jason Cohen (3 assists), and Lucas Folchetti-Puglin (3 goals), each recorded 3 points in the win. James Alveari, Sarosh Hasan, and Jagger Kalka were the goal scorers for the Preds. The Sharks finish out the regular season in 4th place, with one game in-hand over the Preds. 

Kings 7 - Penguins 3

Congratulations to the Kings! We mentioned a few games ago that they continue to work and play hard, and that finally paid off as they earn their first dub of the season. Sean Hoefenkrieg earns the win in goal in front of an all-around team effort as 9 players recorded a point on the stat sheet. Bobby Michaleski (1 goal, 2 assists), and Brendan Hoefenkrieg (2 goals, 1 assist) led the Kings with.3 points each. Jackson DiPasquale scored twice in the loss for the Pens. 

Bruins 12 - Devils 8

The B's clinch the #1 seed in the division and will earn a first round bye in the double elimination tournament to see who becomes this season's champs. Donovan Butler led the way scoring 4 goals and assisting on 3 others. James Pelini (2 goals, 2 assists), and Jayden Cohen (1 goal, 3 assists) each finished with 4 points while Big Z (Zajin Ramirez) earns his 6th win of the season. Aj Navarro (1 goal, 2 assists), Rocco Avena (1 goal, 2 assists), and Luke Padula (2 goals, 1 assist), each recorded 3 points in the loss. 

Blackhawks 12 - Jets 11

Caden Day led the Blackhawks to victory by recording 5 points (3 goals, 2 assists). Liam Licastro, and Andrew Rapp both scored and both added 3 assists a piece while Dylan Day finished with a hat trick. For the Jets, Naveed Kahn had a monster game recording 7 points (2 goals, 5 assists). Lucas Aykaz recorded 5 points (2 goals, 3 assists) and Jase Kavanagh had a hat trick and one assist. The Blackhawks take over sole possession of 1st place and both teams have 2 games remaining on the season.
