WEEK 9 RECAP

*BMRH Weekly Recaps may contain material that may be considered offensive, controversial, or triggering to some hockey players. We write things such as "pass the puck!" or "where's the defense?!" in hopes our teams never take it personally. Our recaps are a fun way to display scores from around the league and showcase some of the key performances that occurred throughout the week. Our authors have fun creating this content, and you should too. No animals are hurt nor hockey sticks were are broken when creating these recaps. Apologies in advance for any potential typos, after all, this is being edited by a hockey players...

FRESHMAN DIVISION FINALs

Kings 9 - Devils 7

Both teams come rolling into the best of three Championship Series with wins over the top seeded teams in the division. All night long, we witnessed both teams working hard, making plays, and giving it their max effort. At the half, we were tied at 4, but it was the Kings 1st line who kept the pressure on all night and secured the dub. LukasAykaz recorded 3 goals, and 3 assists, Jase Kavanagh recorded 2 goals, 3 assists, and Parker Kavanagh finished with a goal, and 3 assists. Jaxon Passerella held on long enough to give the Kings the game 1 victory. The Devils 1st and 2nd line scoring attack had a quiet evening compared to the numbers they put up in the regular season. RyderSanon scored twice, both assisted by Owen Bernstein. Sarosh Hasan also finished with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). We can't wait to see how the teams come out and play in Game 2.

Golden Knights 6 - Jets 2

Vincent Catalfomo leads the Golden Knights to a round 1 playoff victory as he recorded 5 points (3 goals, 2 assists). Thomas Ryan added 2 goals while Thomas Primrose kept the Jets off the scoreboard throughout the evening. Jeffrey Arale, and Frankie Smart each scored a goal for the Jets. The Golden Knights move on to face the Avs while the Jets will face the loser of that game.

Thanksgiving break is always a shortened week. We are excited to turn the calendar page to December, and work our way to crowining 3 Division Champions.
